Privacy Policy
This website collects almost nothing. Rather than say that vaguely, this page says exactly what is and is not happening when you visit.

1. Scope and who we are
This website is operated by CogNoodle LLC, a limited liability company organised under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States (“CogNoodle”, “we”, “us”).
This policy covers cognoodle.ai only. Our HyveMind platform processes real customer data and is covered by a separate, longer privacy policy on the platform site. If you are a HyveMind customer, that is the document you want.
2. What this site collects
This is a set of static pages. Specifically, and verifiably:
- We set no cookies. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you are not being asked to dismiss a banner.
- There is no analytics software. No Google Analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, no heatmap, no session replay, no behavioural analytics product of any kind.
- One item of local storage. If you switch between the light and dark theme, that preference is saved in your own browser under the key
cn-theme. It never leaves your device and we never see it. Clearing your browser storage removes it. - Fonts are served from our own domain. Typefaces are bundled at build time, so viewing a page does not cause your browser to request anything from a third-party font service.
- Hosting logs. Our hosting and content-delivery provider processes the technical data every web request necessarily contains — IP address, user agent, requested path, timestamp — in order to serve the page and to protect the site against attacks. We do not use it to build a profile of you, and we do not combine it with anything else.
3. The contact form
Our contact form does something slightly unusual, and it is worth understanding.
- Where it submits
- Nowhere. The form runs entirely in your browser and assembles a pre-filled message in your own email application. There is no server here receiving a form post.
- What we receive
- Only the email you choose to send, in our inbox — the same as if you had written to us directly. If you close your email client without sending, we receive nothing.
- What we do with it
- Read it and reply. We keep the correspondence for as long as it is useful and as a normal business record.
- Legal basis (GDPR)
- Our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
- Sharing
- Never sold, rented, or passed to advertisers or data brokers.
We do not add you to a mailing list because you wrote to us. If we ever run one, joining will be a separate and deliberate choice.
4. Payments
This website still takes no payments. There is no checkout, no card field, and no payment form anywhere on cognoodle.ai. Nothing you do here charges you anything, and no payment processor is connected to these pages.
Plans are bought on the product site. HyveMind’s Pro and Business plans are sold self-serve there, and those payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Card details are entered on Stripe’s own hosted checkout pages, on Stripe’s domain — they never reach a CogNoodle server and we are not able to see them. Stripe handles them under its own privacy policy, at stripe.com/privacy.
From a purchase we keep only what we need in order to set your workspace up and to help you when you write to us about it: your Stripe customer identifier, your subscription identifier and its status, the email address you entered at checkout, the plan you bought, and the identifiers of the billing notifications Stripe sends us. We never hold a card number, a card security code, or bank account details. That data belongs to the HyveMind platform rather than to this website, and the platform’s own privacy policy describes it in full.
Cancelling. There is no self-service billing portal yet. Until there is, email admin@cognoodle.ai and we will cancel the subscription. Cancelling during the free trial means you are never charged.
5. Third parties
- Hosting and CDN. Our provider serves these pages and processes connection data as described above.
- Email. Messages you send us arrive in our business email system.
- Payments. Stripe, Inc., for HyveMind subscriptions. Nothing on this site touches it — see section 4.
- Outbound links. Pages here link to places like our source repository. Once you follow a link, that site’s privacy policy applies, not ours.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
6. Your rights
How to exercise them: email legal@cognoodle.ai and tell us what you want. We may ask a question to confirm your identity. There is no charge for a reasonable request and we will not treat you differently for making one.
EU, EEA, and UK
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR and UK GDPR you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. We respond within one month, extendable by two further months for complex requests with notice to you. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority. We are established in the United States and have not appointed an Article 27 representative; if that changes we will name them here.
California
Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA you may request to know, delete, or correct personal information we hold, and limit the use of sensitive personal information. We acknowledge within ten business days and respond within forty-five calendar days, extendable by forty-five days with notice. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is no opt-out to exercise.
Everywhere else
Write to us regardless. We would rather answer a request than debate which statute covers it.
7. International
We are a United States company and this site is served from a global edge network, so requests may be handled in the United States and elsewhere. Given how little we collect, the practical exposure is limited to the connection data described in section 2.
8. Children
This site is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email legal@cognoodle.ai and we will delete it.
9. Changes
If we add anything to this site that collects data — analytics, a real server-side form, an embedded third-party widget — we will update this policy before it goes live, and the date and version at the top will change accordingly.
10. Contact
Privacy questions and requests: legal@cognoodle.ai. Security reports: security@cognoodle.ai.
